Ingalls Homestead honors The Pa's Fiddle Project with request...

Ingalls Homestead in DeSmet, South Dakota has requested to use tracks from The Pa's Fiddle Project to underscore their recently produced informational video about their living museum. Musical artists Riders In the Sky, Butch Baldasarri and others can be heard singing, picking, and fiddling as the story of the homestead unfolds.

Ingalls Homestead--near "the shores of Silver Lake"-is located on the original 160 acres purchased by Charles "Pa" Ingalls in 1886 for the sum of sixteen dollars in filing fees (plus a few years of "sweat equity").

We think you'll enjoy their beautifully produced video, as well as the opportunity to revisit the homespun music of America's late-eighteenth century frontier.
